4 kwietnia br. już po raz czwarty w Warszawie została zorganizowana studencka konferencja naukowa IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum Warsaw.
Forum odbywało się pod patronatem największych targów przemysłu spotkań IMEX oraz Meeting Profesionals International (MPI), międzynarodowej organizacji zrzeszającą ponad 25 tysięcy ekspertów zajmujących się spotkaniami na całym świecie i jej polskiego oddziału (MPI POLAND CLUB).
Z inicjatywy Wyższej Szkoły Ekonomiczno-Informatycznej (WSE-I), pierwszej w Polsce uczelni wyższej, która kształci studentów z zakresu turystyki biznesowej do Warszawy przyjechało ponad pięćdziesięciu studentów z ośmiu ośrodków akademickich w tym m.in.: z Katowic, Szczecin, Gdańska, Wrocławia i Warszawy.
Całodniowe prezentacje połączone z warsztatami były prowadzone w języku angielskim i okazały się dobrą okazją do promowania przemysłu spotkań i kształcenia młodych kadr na jego potrzeby w Polsce.
Po raz pierwszy warszawska edycja konferencji FLF i jej uczestnicy wzięli udział w IMEX University Challenge, konkursie w którym główna nagroda to wyjazd na targi IMEX do Frankfurtu oraz możliwość walki o darmowy udział w konferencji MPI w lipcu w Salt Lake City, USA. Również na konferencji FLF Warsaw 2009 po raz pierwszy została wyłoniona nagroda, którą jest miesięczny staż w Radisson SAS Hotel Kraków.
